arrow How to Install Lagune Quick Step Flooring

arrow Renovation:
Remove any type of soft flooring like carpets before installation. If the existing floor coverings are damp sealed, like PVC, linoleum or VCT, you do not need to remove them.

Always use underlay.
arrow WOODEN SUBFLOOR
After removing the existing flooring, check the floor for stability, and fix any problems, if any. You can use special layers to level the floor if necessary.

The direction of the planks must be crosswise from the one of the previous flooring and you need to ensure that the crawl space under the laminated floor has enough ventilation and that the moisture content does not exceed 12%.
arrow Installing the floor
Before starting the installation of the flooring, inspect the planks and remove the faulty ones, if you find any.

Leave an expansion gap of 8-10 mm between the flooring and walls, pipes and door frames to account for any expansions or contractions of the floor due to fluctuating humidity levels .

NOTE: In spaces with underfloor heating systems make sure that the temperature of 28.8°C is not exceeded and that the humidity level is of maximum 1.5%
